Pros: iPhone 3G compatible, good sound, motion sensor snooze
Cons: Tilts down on the top, can't set wake up to Albums, too big for portability
After searching long and hard for a clock/alarm station for my iPhone, I finally found the Logitech Pure-Fi speaker dock. Not only does it have an active clock and alarm, it supports a plethora of iPods as well as the iPhone and charges whilst your device is docked!

The sounds is quite good given the size of the unit and the operation is simple enough. The remote is basic but covers the functions that you need.

The only improvement for me would be the ability to set any Album, Song or Artist to wake up to in the morning. You can select Playlists and there are 5 presets, so if you have a fav album, you'll need to create a separate playlist outside of your library to wake up to (or rate it as your most favourite).

Having said that, there are some brilliant features that make this machine worth every cent!

- Motion sensor snooze. Just waive your hand over the top and it snoozes for your preset length of time! No more stumbling around for the button and given the height of the device, no chance of sending your device flying.

- No GSM interference. When your iPhone is docked, not only do you not have interruptions from the phone paging the mobile network, if you receive an incoming call, it fades & pauses your track to enable your ringing tone! Then when you are done, it picks up where you left off and fades back in! It is also a saviour to have my phone charge overnight ready for a full day's use the next day!

- Choose the display option. Have it as a clock, as the track information or even both! You can set the brightness and there is two separate alarm options. One for during the week for work and one you can set for other times / weekends without constantly resetting!

Overall a great unit, good sound and the best of the very few clock/alarm units that supports iPhone 3G! Buy one from JB now!
