Pros: Great sound quality, seperate volume control
Cons: A little bit bulky in the ear
Great sound quality and good bass for in ear earphones. There is a seperate volume control on the cord as well. The ear buds themselves are a little bulky but nothing to bad.

Pros: Includes volume control
Cons: Poor sound quality, overpriced compared to the competition, cords tangle easily.
I bought these headphones in the expectation that paying $40 also should guarantee reasonably good sound quality, especially from a company like Sennheiser. Unfortunately, the sound quality is really pretty average considering the price. My old Sony headphones that also included a volume control and cost me $30 easily sound much better than these Sennheiser's and the Sony cord is made out of a sort of rubber that seems to resist tangling in a way that these don't. Basically, if I knew then what I know now, I would have simply bought another pair of Sony headphones, saved $10 and gained better sound quality. Also, the volume control on the Sony headphones was much easier to manipulate when making small adjustments; it's very hard to find exactly the right volume level with these Sennheiser's. The only advantage of the Sennheiser headphones over the Sony's is a slightly longer cord but, frankly, that's not really a big selling point because the Sennheiser cord is still quite short compared to many headphones. The only other thing I'll mention is that the earpiece on these headphones is quite large. If you have very small ears (I would imagine particularly if you are female), then these might be a little too big and consequently uncomfortable. For almost all guys though I would say this probably isn't an issue.

Pros: Good sound, comfort, extras
Cons: Died in just a few months
what does it take to make earphones that are one iota durable? in just a few months the left earphone stopped working altogether, and a few weeks later the right one followed. useless, utterly, utterly useless

Pros: Comfortable, excellent sound quality
These earphones are the most comfortable in-ear phones that I have ever used. They actually fit, they are a 100% improvement over the standard iPod earphones. The sound quality is excellent, with good bass and high register audio. The volume control is sensitive and has good range. The carry case is just the icing on the cake for me. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone with a portable music device.

I have found these to be a fantastic improvement on the basic white iPod in-ear-phones - not only are they a more comfortable fit in my ear, but they sound great and have the added feature of a separate volume control. For the price they exceeded my expectations.
