The IKON Series is a direct descendant of the Euphonia and Helicon Series. We managed to implement audiophile features like the Hybrid Tweeter Module and paper/wood fibre cones at a price point which has NEVER been achieved before. Not made in China, but at the DALI factory in Denmark.

The IKON Series is developed, designed, hand-built, assembled and individually tested at the DALI factory in Denmark.

Pros: Capable of beautifully detailed sound.
Cons: Bass is adequate but not a rock speaker. Coupled with the DALI Sub..wow.
My system comprises the IKON 6 fronts, IKON 2 rears, Vocal 2 centre and IKON Sub. Processing is handled by a Yamaha RX-V1600 which feeds the rear speakers, the centre speaker and a feed to the the powered sub. The front channel Yamaha preamp outputs feed a 20W class A solid state stereo amp. A Cambridge AZUR 640C V2 CD player and an ancient AR XB2 turntable with a Shure M97xE cartridge complete the kit. The overall result is superb sound and with the Yamaha amplifier in 'pure direct' mode for stereo listening... the results are absolutely outstanding. The IKON 6 speaker sound is pin sharp, transients are clean and rapid and the sound stage allows accurate placement of the instruments whether in the forground or at the rear of the stage. On acoustic guitar or vocals the artist is right there in front of you. The IKON 6's sound best when playing loud, whatever the style of music. At lower levels they still sound fine but wind the wick up and you're right there in front of the artists. In home theatre use they produce a sound field which is beautifully matched throuout the listening area and the IKON Sub can frighten the heck out of you with the right material. Coupled with a 2.5metre screen and a high definition projector I never have to leave the comfort of my theatre room. If I sound passionate about DALI speakers you're right.
