This new TEAC HD set top box also offers a wide selection of connectivity for the user such as component and composite outputs and includes an S/PDIF digital audio output that can be connected to a home theatre system for high quality digital sound.

The new stylish front panel design of the HDB841 features a 4 digit panel display which comprises an easy to use menu system including a 7-day electronic program guide that allows users to preview and watch their favourite TV programs. It also comes with multi language subtitles.
 
Both PAL and NTSC compatible decodes all high definition modes (576p, 720p, 1080i) and standard definition signals (576i).

Operation of this TEAC HDB841 is further simplified by a full function remote control and on-screen Teletext with closed captioning.
