Pros: cost

this is my first plasma tv and i couldnt be happier , i love the picture quality and the easy to use functions , i also bought an lg surround sound system along with it and it just adds heaps to the quality of sound when watching a dvd , thanks to the salesman who advised me on the purchase

Pros: Super Picture, Good inbuilt speaker sound, nice finish.
Cons: None as yet!!
Purchased this unit based on a very tight budget and specs offered, I couldnt afford much more and budget units can be hit and miss.

since setting this unit up I seriously think it's good value for money, I havent seen anything with these specs that looks this good for the same money.

Although there are mixed reviews in AV forums about the previous Soniq products this model addresses most of those issues with ease. Out of the box it's a decent panel with good colours and crisp blacks. OSD is very good for a generic panel and the ease of use/setup is a welcome addition. I was impressed with the unit in store and since setting it up at home it looks even better.

I'm pretty impressed with the connectivity options for this price and the inbuilt HD tuner and EPG look smart and crisp, I cant fault them. The response time of the OSD is quick and painless, channel selection is instant.

This panel has far exceeded my expectations for the price, I can only hope it last a little longer than our 4 year old LG that cost 3 times as much when first released.

I highly recommend this panel, get some extended warranty for peace of mind and your set. Great budget set....

Pros: Good purchase for your money!
Watching my favorite tv shows on the SONIQ 42-inch plasma has never been the same. It has a built-in high definition tuner which gives a big boost in terms of picture quality. Also, when I'm watching my favourite movies (I also purchased a Sony 5.1 Home theater package worth around $491.00)...I get awed by the fact that its like being in a movie theater!
