    Pros: Easy to set up, superb picture quality

    I originaly bought the none digital Q171 and although the picture was good JB Hifi were happy to change it the next day for the Q172 and WOW I was amazed at the quality of this little TV. Plugged it in and it searched for the stations and worked straight away with no additional settings. The black levels are black and colours vibrant sound is very good. Full featured remote with teletext. The receiver is strong as my Sony Trinitron is more grainy than this little beauty.
    Well done JB Hifi, top customer service and great product.

    Pros: Good picture quality
    Cons: The mat black finish of the unit not the best.
    I have been waiting for a reasonably priced 12v digital TV for my boat. This one has the HD tuner built in, thus receiving all the channels. The power consumption is modest, around 3 amps and this is important for battery life. Very simple to set up for local stations.

    Pros: Great Value, easy set-up
    Cons: None
    Impulse purchased the Soniq QV172LT and on arrival was impressed on opening that the TV was well packed with clear and easy to understand instructions. Set-up after plugging in was a breeze using the onscreen wizard.
    Picture and sound quality is very good excellent and you can plug in external speakers if you wish.
    Can also be used as a computer monitor.
    I had concerns about the brand and quality and would now recommend it and consider buying a larger Soniq TV for the living room.
