Pros: Good price, plays MP3 discs, jogwheel pitch control excellent, sliders feel great, you can attach external sources to the built-in mixer if you want (line/phono supported) and use instead of 1 or both of the CD players.
Cons: Buttons can feel a little mushy, playback didn't always start on the same frame that was cued, only one channel on headphones at a time
Picked this unit up after a friend of mine gave it awesome praise and I gotta say I agree. For the beginner learning to beatmatch or for someone who wants to DJ a few house parties you can't go wrong, especially at the price.

The pros:
I liked the design overall, looks great when switched on too. The LCD displays don't give much information other than the basics that you'll need. The jog wheels feel great under the hands and being able to use them to nudge playback is excellent and this works very well. I was surprised at how sensitive the pitch sliders were, given their 16% range, definitely impressed that I was able to still control pitch within 0.1%. Coming from a Behringer BCD2000 this is bliss (don't know if that's saying much though, the BCD2000 has awfully inaccurate pitch sliders). Coming from that, I'm finding getting tracks to stay in sync much easier and the jogwheel pitch control works exactly as expected. Top marks for this in my book.

I also liked the feel of the various control dials and sliders on the mixer, the build quality seems excellent.

Cons:
Some things I didn't like quite as much / need to get used to. Searching/cueing isn't smooth, you only really hear where you're at if you move the dial slowly. I also found the unit seemed to drift a few frames here or there when starting back up and compared to my PC setup it felt a bit sluggish when you hit PLAY. Thankfully the great jogwheel pitch control makes up for this as it's fairly easy to start playing then quickly compensate to get your beats in line. Maybe it was just me but I'd give it a go to see how it feels for you.

I also found the response of the pushbuttons a little mushy and this probably contributed to the 'sluggish' feel. It might be just what I'm used to though with my other setup, so again this is more of a personal opinion.

My only other major gripe is that you can't mix both CD player channels in the headphones channel. I'm used to mixing with both headphones on so with this unit I'll need to get used to listening to the outside speakers and the headphone channel at the same time.

Conclusion:
I'm not a professional DJ by any stretch of the imagination (more a bedroom beginner) and this unit is great just for that. I'd definitely have a go of it in-store and see if you like the feel. If you're not expecting any fancy effects and just want the basics to learn to beatmix on, I'd highly recommend this unit especially at the price.

Pros: Excellent Value for the budding Dj, Strong built unit very sturdy
Cons: Prone to vibration(stick some foam underneath). Volume output could be better from middle up(not much change noted)
Bought this unit as a back up as the Denons went in for repair and right from the offset it has not let me down..Super responsive on the cue up as good as Denon..Possibly a little to sensitive on the search side but after a little playing its easy as.Great value for money as I was not expecting much for the price but its feature packed and worth every cent. Pitch control is sensitive at 16% compared to most at 12% so that took some getting used to but overall a great unit..

Pros: Excellent price, heavy build, easy to set up and use, sound quality is great
Cons: Basic, some of the dials 'lock-in' a little off the central position, jog wheels a little loose
One could easily dismiss this product as an overtly simple piece of DJ equipment that wouldn't be able to command the credibility sought by professional DJs. This does not appear to be products (or manufacturers) intention however.

This nifty package has been designed with the beginner in mind - and at under $400, the value for money you get with this piece of equipment is unbeatable.

This mixer can output to most stereo systems. For the time being, I have mine connected to the Logitech X-540s - sound quality is sensational.

Some of the highlight features include:

- The ability to control pitch using the jog wheels (which can also be used to scan through the track and cue a suitable start point)
- Automatic fader start (cued music begins to play as the cross fader is moved from one side to the other)
- Circular, blue, back-lit LCD screens in the centre of each jog wheel which display necessary track information, etc
- The ability to play MP3 discs

A simple browse online will demonstrate that similarly featured dual CD mixers (or even digital, PC-reliant mixers) are priced significantly higher than this model.

At the surprising price, this modest, yet amply featured dual CD mixer does exactly what it is supposed to do - and does it well.
