this a is a very good screen but it needs speakers and other features. this tends to get a ripple effect over it that is noticable when a bright light comes on (eg. when it is a white screen)

i would not recomend it for a small living room but it is ok in a large open area.

I recently purchased one of these screens and over all am very happy with this product. The price is very good for what you get and quality is what you would expect from Sony.

One of the main reasons I bought this one was it's inclusion of the DVI input. I wanted to run this with my MS Media Centre PC through the DVI outup. As such the quality of the image is fantastic as the PC monitor and equally excellent for DVD playback. My son likes to watch the Pixar movies and they look stunning on this screen. I had noticed bad artifacing on similar priced units, but none on this one.

An annoying 'feature' of my system is the resolution I have to switch between when watching different sources. DVD - 1280x1024, Foxtel (Digiatl), 1280x1024(WS,Movies), 1024x768(Non WS). I think this is a failing of the broadcaster, but it is annoying.

The various inputs on this unit allow me to use my PC, direct Foxtel feed and my Gamecube. The gamecube looks particulary good. This highlights this screens high speed graphics capability.

My only real issue with it is that it is not perfect in dark / low light reproduction. The Blacks can look a little pixelated and gray. Again, this could be the broadcaster.

Overall this is an excellent purchase and looks fantastic.
