Pros: cheap, effective, simple Cons: none that i can think of Admittedly, I am no longer using these on my PC. I bought them initially because they were cheap and the repsonse frequency range was acceptable for the price. For under $50 speakers, you wont find many better than this. The bass response is more than adequate for everyday use and as with any logitech speaker set, the volume range is perfect. Despite no control over the sub, the preset mixing is quite good on its own. For those using for PC music playback, you can tweak your iTunes or WMP equalizer for your own preference but for the average user it wont be necessary.
I noted before that I no longer use for PC, this is because I liked the tone so much that I plugged them into my digital piano. I have a Roland stage piano (RRP$3900) which has no internal sound. These speakers are nothing fancy but they provide perfect sound reproduction for a small bedroom setting (great for practice).
I'd recommend these speakers to anyone who doesnt want to spend more than $50 on speakers for their everyday audio needs. |
