Pros: cheap, good value
Cons: should spend more on a more future proof machine
I bought this on a whim. Obviously it is a good price and I have no major complaints. If I had my time again, I would have spent more for better chip, hard drive, ram. Only problem I have is connecting to a TV to show video. I can connect picture, but there doesn't seem to be an audio connection. Must rely on the computer speakers.

Pros: Cheap
Cons: Too early to say
Being a relative Ludite, who uses "office" applications at work, and emails friends etc ( like a lot of work people these days; we get conditioned to the web, and miss it when its unavailable ), I finally bit the bullet, and purchased a little lap-top for the price of a used one. The Optical Driver will be my entertainment centre on the boat, and I will be able to stay in touch on weekends etc, without going into work. All good so far, and happy with my new toy.
