Pros: Simple to operate. Pleasant English accent for prompts
Cons: Sleep mode power options could be better. No updates?
Great entry level GPS at a LOW price. My first GPS and I'm reasonably impressed. Some inaccuracies in the map for my city. But I guess nothings perfect.
It is a pity that when powered (from a cars 12v outlet) the unit doesn't go into sleep mode when the supply is interrupted. The unit stays on and is powered from the internal recharegeable battery till it goes flat after approx. 1 hour. Naturally you can manually power off the unit, but it is easy to forget.
A settable time (5-10mins?) before going into sleep mode on power interuption would be a nice option.
User downloadable updates would be nice as well.
All in all an excellent GPS for the price! |
